When deleting PDF pages helps
PDF files often contain blank pages, duplicate scans, cover sheets, outdated information or pages that should not be shared. Removing those pages makes the document cleaner, smaller and easier to use.
How to delete pages from a PDF
- Open the Delete PDF Pages tool.
- Add your PDF file.
- Review page thumbnails.
- Select pages you want to remove.
- Download the cleaned PDF.
Deleting pages creates a new PDF. Your original file is not overwritten.
Examples
- Remove a blank page after scanning.
- Delete old terms from a document before sharing.
- Remove unnecessary cover pages.
- Clean a PDF export before sending it to a client.
Delete vs extract
Deleting pages is best when most of the document is useful and only a few pages should be removed. Extracting pages is better when you only need a small part of the document.
Before downloading
Always check the final page order after deletion. If the PDF contains page numbers printed inside the document, remember that removing pages does not automatically rewrite those printed numbers.
Security note
If your PDF includes sensitive information, make sure the unwanted pages are truly removed in the new file before sharing it. Do not rely on simply hiding pages in a PDF viewer.
FAQ
Can I remove multiple pages at once?
Yes. Select every page you want to delete before generating the new PDF.
Will the file size become smaller?
Often yes, especially if you remove image-heavy scanned pages.
Can I undo deleted pages?
The downloaded file will not contain deleted pages. Keep the original PDF if you may need those pages later.
